October Platform Challenge – Day 17

Include an Image in a blog post.

My Day 17 assignment is to include an image in a blog post. I wanted to find something inspiring and unique.

The Library at Dunham Massey, which is one of the least changed of the 18th century interiors. The bookcases are made of oak. The carving above the fireplace is by Grinling Gibbons.

I would be able to spend hours searching this room. The handcrafted detail is inspiring. I wonder what kind of stories this room may have conjured up. Perhaps a visit is needed to see the details in person. How would this room inspire you? What does inspire you to write/read?
